Hi. This is Jim, the producer and engineer behind Wow & Flutter Audio, a recording, live sound and mastering service based in Oswestry, Shropshire.

With over 20 years of live sound and studio production under my belt, I'm a highly experienced audio professional with great ears, attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

I've toured all over the UK, Europe and USA mixing live FOH and monitor sound, had my mixes and masters played on national and local radio and provided audio services to a growing number of well established A/V clients across the country. In 2024 I was selected as A1 to mix audio in the largest indoor arena in Paris for the Olympics.

PA Hire / Live Sound 

Whether it's a theatre show, a club gig, outdoor concert, a simple acoustic performance or wireless mics and PA for a corporate event or wedding, I'll help to arrange everything audio for your event, ensure it sounds great and fits your budget.

Studio Production / Location Recording 

I've been recording bands, solo acts and voice over artists for many years - and I love it! My skills in analogue and digital multitrack recording, editing and mixing are second to none. I won't sign off on any job until it's release-ready.

As an established songwriter and musician, I also bring these skills to the table as a producer and always strive to serve the song and help the performer realise their goals. 

Mastering 

I use a hybrid analogue/digital equipment chain to make your mixes pop and sparkle, turning great productions into finished records. 

There really is no substitute for working with an experienced mastering engineer with highly developed ears - rather than attempting a D.I.Y. approach with a one-stop plugin or A.I. service. 

I won't deliver super loud or 'brickwalled' masters. I'm all about dynamics and tasteful EQ. I strive for masters that sound vibrant and translate to streaming services, vinyl, CD and radio.
